Senator Orrin Hatch has announced his retirement from the United States Senate. Hatch has been a huge President Trump supporter since the President took office. This not only gives Republican’s another seat to defend, it reties an Ally of President Trump in the United States Senate.
Hatch, who’s 83 years old has served in the United States Senate since 1976. A Poll in the Salt Lake Tribune and the Utah-based Hinckley Institute of Politics, 75% of voters said Mr. Hatch shouldn’t run again. An amazing number considering his age at 83. Former Republican Presidential Nominee and Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is said to be wanting to throw his name in the hat.
