Sargent Ron Helus went in when others ran last night at a deadly California night club shooting. While others ran, Helus went inside to take on the shooter. He’s one of 12 fatalities at this horrific attack on Americans. The suspect is dead at the scene, thanks to the heroics of Helus and others. Rest in Peace knowing you served your State and Country Well. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends hero.

One response to “HERO: Sargent Ron Helus Lost His Life Taking On The California Shooter Last Night, Remember Him”

  1. Sadly it seems that a large portion of the US population has developed a distaste for our heroic, brave, selfless LEO’s. These men and women potentially face death every day they put on their uniforms. They can be forced into combat situations in their own country, yet most are willing to do whatever it takes to preserve the lives of citizens, and their commrades. All lives matter, and the loss of one affects many. There were many heroes in Twin Oaks. People helping strangers in the face of incredible carnage, with little regard for their own safety. I salute all of these brave people. Deputy Helus is a shining star, and a credit to his department. I can only hope that peace and serenity eventually come to all who have had their lives thrust into this eddy of mixed emotions. I have been there. Time helps salve the wounds, but memories assure that those who are lost, will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those whose lives they touched. We must cherish our memories, for without them, the past ceases to exist. Remember the past, live in the present, embrace the future as best you can.It is all we have.
