“If the shoe were on the other foot it would be treason”: Trump slams Obama for spying on campaign

President Donald Trump slammed former President Obama for spying on his 2016 presidential campaign, saying in an interview with former Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski and former Deputy Campaign Manager David Bossie, that if the reverse happened to Obama, it would be considered treason, according to audio obtained by The DailyMail.

When asked if he believed Obama knew that then-CIA Director John Brennan and then Director of National Intelligence James Clapper were surveilling then President-elect Trump and members of his transition team, Trump responded “Personally, I think he knew. Yeah. Just remember what they did.”

“Let me put it this way: if the shoe were on the other foot, and the same thing happened to him, it would be treason and they’d be locked up for 100 years,” Trump added.
